Air-Conditioned Jacket

Have you ever thought that you can have a jacket which will cool you outside like air-conditioner ? No......., here is the solution....

A team of Japanese scientists claimed to have developed a jacket which has an in-built air-conditioning system. According to the scientists at the Kuchofuku Co. Ltd., the jacket contains two electric fans powered by a lithium-ion battery pack which lasts for 11 hours on a single charge, needing significantly less energy than conventional air-conditioning.

It would help a lot of persons who have to work and go out in a sunny day.The jacket, costs around 87euro, has considerable cooling powers. It can draw in 20 litres of air per seecond which then circulates through out the garment before escaping through collars and cuffs. When asked about the central idea behind this revolutionary product, scientists said, “we felt that one does not need to cool the entire room, as long as peoplein it feel cool.”
The air-conditioning jacket is in fact a sign of the hard times that Japan is facing.Demands for such personalised air-conditioning is rising in Japan, as the people they are seeking ever more ingenious ways of cooling down while saving energy as the nuclear crisis continues to haunt the nations.
